Explore a variety of other offerings including candles, wood items, jewelry, quilts, clothing, honey, and salsa. Community service information booths will also be available.
Enjoy pony rides, train rides, and a cornhole tournament with The City of Fairborn vs Wright Patt challenge over both days. Free entertainment will be provided all day in the Festival Music Pavilion area. Parking and admission are free.
The Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival originated in 1982 at the Fairborn Lion Den Park in Rona Hills. By the following year, it relocated to the grounds of Central Jr. High School, and since then, it has found its home at Community Park. Over the years, the festival has expanded from 40 booths and a few thousand attendees to approximately 170 booths and over 45,000 visitors annually.
From its inception, the Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival has maintained beloved traditions such as the ribbon-cutting ceremony by the King and Queen, signaling the start of festivities. Guests can enjoy free entertainment, browse numerous arts and crafts booths, savor delicious food options, and of course, indulge in the famous steam-cooked sweet corn. This year, join the fun in the cornhole contest as a new addition in place of the corn-eating contest.
Children can enjoy pony and train rides, while everyone explores the 1840s Pioneer Village with various demonstrations and activities.
Through volunteers’ dedication, the Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival has become a premier Southwest Ohio event, celebrating community and tradition.
This annual event promises a weekend filled with fun, food, crafts, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
