What is Whiskermen?
Whiskermen is a disabled-veteran-owned company based in Ohio. We handcraft premium all-natural beard care products one bottle at a time. Our lineup includes beard oils, butters, balms, soaps, mustache wax, and complete starter packages. These products promote healthy whisker growth, reduce itch and beardruff, and keep your beard soft, strong, and well-groomed. We make everything in the USA using top-quality natural ingredients.
Are your products really all-natural and made in the USA?
Yes. We use only the finest natural oils and butters and never add artificial or lab-produced ingredients. Our base oils typically include jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed, argan, and coconut. The butters feature shea and cocoa. In addition, we handcraft every product in small batches in Ohio and perform rigorous quality checks. Most of our ingredients also come from U.S. sources.
Who owns Whiskermen?
A disabled veteran and first-responder family own and operate Whiskermen. Additionally, a portion of every sale from our DD214 line supports military charities.
What scents do you offer?
We offer a wide range of popular scents, including Barber Shop, Bearded AF (leather, tobacco, coffee & woodsmoke), Bourbon Whiskey, Campfire, Cedar Leather, Code Red, God of Thunder, Vanilla Chai, Rustic Spice, Oatmeal Stout, and our original unscented Whiskermen scent. We also release seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Spice. Our DD214 line features a unique military-inspired blend with notes of bourbon, whiskey, Cuban tobacco, and coffee. If you want to try several options first, our sample packs make it easy to find your favorites.
Product Use & Benefits
What does beard oil do, and how do I use it?
Beard oil moisturizes the skin under your beard, softens whiskers, reduces itch and flaking (beardruff), helps prevent breakage, and adds a light scent. For best results, apply it after a warm shower while your pores are open. Place a few drops (about a dime- to nickel-size amount) in your palm, rub your hands together, and work the oil into your skin first. Then massage it through your beard from roots to tips. Finish by combing or brushing.
Recommended amounts:
- Peach fuzz to ¼″: 3–4 drops
- ¼″ to 1″: 4–6 drops
- 1″ to 3″: 6–10 drops
- 3″+: 10 or more drops
Start with less and add more if needed—a little goes a long way.
What’s the difference between beard oil, beard butter, and beard balm?
- Beard oil provides lightweight daily moisture and sinks in quickly.
- Beard butter offers a richer, creamier formula for deeper conditioning and light control without heavy hold.
- Beard balm contains beeswax, so it delivers medium hold for styling while still moisturizing.
Many men apply oil every day and use butter or balm when they want extra conditioning or styling power.
Will your products help my beard grow faster?
Our products will not magically speed up growth. However, they create the ideal conditions for healthy growth. They deeply nourish both hair and skin, reduce breakage, ease itch, and control dandruff so your beard can reach its full potential.
How do I use beard butter or balm?
Scoop a small amount and warm it between your palms until it softens or melts. Then work it thoroughly through a clean, slightly damp or dry beard from roots to tips. Style as desired afterward. Store the product in a cool, dry place. Note that butters and balms can soften in heat during shipping—we include resetting instructions if needed.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
We formulate our products with natural ingredients, but everyone’s skin reacts differently. Therefore, always perform a patch test first. Stop using the product if you notice any irritation, and feel free to contact us with specific concerns.
Do you offer sample packs?
Yes. Our Beard Oil Sampler and Beard Butter Sample Packs let you choose multiple scents in smaller sizes so you can discover your favorites before buying full-size bottles. We also offer a Beard Care Starter Package that includes oil, butter, soap, and a wood comb.

How much is shipping?
We offer simple $7 flat-rate shipping on all orders.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently focus on U.S. shipping. Please check the site or contact us for the latest international options.

How long does shipping take?
We process orders promptly. Delivery usually takes a few business days once the package ships, though times vary by location. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order leaves our facility.
Can I use coupon codes on packages or sample packs? P
